My Son Adventures Loop( 1 day -150km)

Itinerary:

We will head out of Hoi An on quiet countryside lanes, where only motorbikes can travel, avoiding the traffic on Vietnamese Highways. First stop is at the Cham tower 11th century building before visiting historic American war sites in the area. We will then ride on countryside roads to stop at Hill 55 (also known as Bo Bo hill), where two battalions of the French forces were wiped out during the First Indochina War. Then we cross the Thu Bon River by local ferry and pass through villages before going to My Son Holy land, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Whilst there we will visit the historic Hindu temples and see the unique methods of building used to construct the temple towers of the Cham Pa people.  On the way back to Hoi An, we will also ride across the “floating bridge” and see local farmers working in their fields, stop at a traditional village and see how friendly local families make sleeping mats by hand. We continue riding through rice fields and crossing 300-meter Bamboo bridge, enjoy beautiful landscape before arriving back in Hoi An as the sun sets.

Countryside Experience ( half day – 60km )

You will see and learn about the interesting daily life of the locals, who have been keeping the same routines for hundreds of years. This adventure will cover all types of terrain, such as Countryside/ dirt roads and rives, floating/ Bamboo bridges.

RECOMMENDED FOR:

Anyone who doesn’t have much time but still wants to “get the taste” of Hoi An countryside.

We will drive through many picturesque rice fields and small villages. You also know how hard to make sleeping mat. We will enjoy some strong Vietnamese coffee to give you a kickstart on short break.

Crossing floating bridge/ Bamboo bridge driving through countryside landscape and dirt roads. Here we will have time to take pictures and enjoy the natural surroundings of rural life before an easy ride back to Hoi An.

In Motorbike Vespa Tours, we will follow the small road through the rice fields to visit the Cham tower an 11th century building in motorbike tours. Ride along quiet roads, see farmers working with fresh air and beautiful scenery filling the senses and stopping to take pictures, enjoy the Vietnamese coffee as well visit the Mushroom farm. We will then travel through Hai Van pass with means: “Sea of Clouds” you will be literally surrounded by coulds with stunning ocean views from here where we can admire the beautiful panorama and enjoy a number of the most glorious landscapes in Vietnam. The Hai Van pass

Is one of the World’s Most Scenic coastal drives, 21 km long and reaching an elevation of 496 meters.

Day1: Hoi An to Prao (150 km)

We will then ride along quiet roads, see farmers working with fresh air and beautiful scenery filling the senses and stopping to take pictures. Then we are into the mountains where we will stop for a swim. We then continue our adventure across the hills of Tea plantations, one of the specialties of the Vietnam. Along the way you will be very happy to see children waving to welcome you, visiting the villages of ethnic minorities we meet and talk to them, spending time observing how the Co Tu ethnic minority work.
Day 2: Prao to Hoi An (160km)
We start a new day riding on the Ho Chi Minh Trail, first named 559 road, stopping to take picture and learn about history. Visiting another village of ethnic Co Tu minorities where the culture and traditions remain untouched, to one of the most authentic hill tribes to remain in Vietnam. To continue adventures on HCM trail, through lush forests with a beautiful views of the center Vietnam mountains before arriving at a waterfall for swimming. In the afternoon, we will back to Hoi An, stopping to visit pineapple plantations and enjoy it (Seasonal), crossing the Thu Bon river by local ferry and riding on “floating bridge” enjoying picturesque of the sunset.

Day 1: Hoi An – Prao (150km)

Drive through the rice fields, stopping at the Cham tower and historic American war sites. We will then riding along the Ho Chi Minh trail, stopping for swimming and relaxing in the waterfall. Then continue into the highlands to visit the ethnic minority village. We will have dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Prao – Khe Sanh (220km)

Leaving Prao we come to the houses-on-stilts belonging to the ethnic minorities on the roads to Khe Sanh. adventure along the Ho Chi Minh Trail, visiting another minority village out near the town of Ta Rut we will visit the Co Tu, Pa Co minority people and walk through their village. Then we ride  through one of the longest and most stunning passes in Vietnam while travelling on a new and quiet road, through amazing scenery of primitive forests in the imposing Truong son mountain range.  you will be surprised with the jungle, mountains, and the quietness, peace and amazing views  across the famous Dakrong bridge on the Ho Chi Minh Trail, before to Khe Sanh.

Day 3: Khe Sanh – Dmz – Hue (210km)

We will drive along Highway 9, through Carol Camp, Hien Luong bridge: known as the “Peace Bridge”, a beam bridge built from steel by the French in 1950 which marks the border between North and South Vietnam before Here and Ben Hai river: an important landmark in the partition of the country into a northern and a southern zone along the 17th parallel by the Geneva Accords of 1954. We will then arrive at the Vinh Moc Tunnels, where an entire village went underground in the 1960 to survive the bombing, The complex of tunnels, located deep in the Vietnamese Demilitarized Zone, includes wells, kitchens, rooms for each family. After exploring the Vinh Moc tunnels, we’ll travel through the tunnel which leads us to the local beach here, where you are free to choose your lunch. After lunch, we will drive along the coast to Hue. On the way, we will visit the Quang Tri citadel which suffered 81 days and nights of fire bombing in 1972.

Start Your Ride up the legendary Hai Van Pass, Top Gear  Experience

– Motorbike Vespa Tours  will take you to Hai Van Pass (Top Gear). On Highway 01, Pass Hai Van is a spectacular landscape, the most interesting place of the annamite mountains. The name translates as marine cloud – because of the fog rising from the South China Sea, often impeding visibility. The pass is located 30 kilometers north border between the provinces of Thua Thien – Hue and Danang. This is the highest pass in Vietnam (500m above sea level).

The top Hai Van pass, we see the Monuments Hai Van Quan and America bunker, you can look throughout the Da Nang City.
