Countryside Experience – Half day riding Tour start (8am – 12pm) / Afternoon (1pm – 5pm)/ 60km

RECOMMENDED FOR: Anyone who doesn’t have much time but still wants to “get the taste” of Hoi An countryside.

Motorbike Vespa Tours will take you to the carpentry village of Kim Bong belongs to the Cam Kim commune, just on the other side of Hoi An river. It was famous for earthenware that sold in many provinces in Central Vietnam. Their work on the head of columns, rafters, pillars, altars, tables, chairs and beds are incredible and masterpieces that anyone would admire and give praise to when they see it. Most of the architectural projects in Hoi An ancient town were constructed by the village natives from the heyday of Hoi an as a commercial port. They were built by skillful carpenters and still valuable today.

The technique of Kim Bong carpenters is exceptional. The Kim Bong carpenters still keep their traditional alive. By coming there through the beautiful countryside roads, we can explore the traditional methods that locals use to build the wooden boat, carve wood and make different furniture.

By going further, you can learn about the typical space of a countryside house in the past, different farming and handicraft tools for those local people. Keep your camera on for capturing the way they make rice paper and ricer cracker with their skillful hands. You even can do it yourself!

Next, we going to another local family, talk to know more about their life, and see how they weave the special grass to make sleeping mat or sleeping grass, one of the most important things in our bedroom.


Following the small back roads through rice paddies, where we can be impressed by the rustic beauty of Vietnam, we will visit the unique bamboo bridge that over 300m long. It will be a great place for taking fantastic photo!
Finally, Motorbike Vespa Tours will driving back to the riverside, take a rest, enjoy nice local food and relaxing before we come back to your hotel.

Hoi An to Da Lat via Ho Chi Minh Trail 5 days 4 nights.

DAY 1: Hội An to Khâm Đức (150 km).

Depart at 08:00 AM, stop and visit the traditional pottery village of Thanh Ha, drive through the rice fields, stopping at the Cham tower and historic American war sites.

We will then go along the Ho Chi Minh trail, stopping for swimming and relaxing in the waterfall.

Then continue into the highlands where you can learn about the Civil War of  Vietnam before 1975 as well as enjoy the breath-taking nature of  the area,… reach to Kham Duc atound 05:00 PM stay overnight in the small town.

Day 2: Khâm Đức to Kon Tum (180 km).

Leaving Kham Duc to Kon tum: Visit other ethnic minority villages such as Tay, Nung, Ba Na,… to learn their traditions, customs, cultures. Continue following the HCM trail to visit the Wooden Church (was built by french from 1913 to 1918), and Rong house, stay overnight in Kon Tum.

Day 3: Kon Tum – Buôn Mê Thuột (225 km).

Leaving Kon Tum to Buon Me Thuot: explore the daily life of BaNa, Ede ethnic  minority village, learn more about their culture tradition,… visit “the Eyes of Pleiku”’ sea lake, rubber plantation, and then go to Buon Me Thuot visit the Dak Lak Museum, stay overnight in Buon Me Thuot.

 

Day 4: Buôn Mê Thuột to Dray Sap_ Lăk Lake (120 km).

Travel to Dray Sap water fall (the biggest water fall in Vietnam) for relaxing and for swimming, then we visit the locals to learn how they process the coffee and taste the best coffee of Vietnam. In the afternoon we follow small roads to go to the Lak lake. Stay overnight in natural Lak lake where you can choose a resort or homrstay with some lovely locals. Probably drink beer with them.

Day 5: Lăk lake to Da Lat  (165 km).

Leaving Lak lake to Da Lat: you can ride elephant or boat (not included with the price)  to pass the lake to visit M’lieng ethnic minority village and then explore Jun village to learn more about the rural life of M’nong tribe about a hour. Stop on the mountain to see coffee plantations and beautiful nature, then head to Da Lat and visit the Pren water fall,… come to Da Lat.


If the trip is happy. We’re continue a few more days.

Day 6: Da Lat to Nha Trang (135 km) or Da Lat city tour.

Visit the flower garden, vegetable farms, Than Tho Lake before leaving Da Lat to Nha Trang. Enjoy Vietnamese coffee in the local café, stop over at K’ho minority village to see local people, water fall before arrive in Nha Trang.
